Born in 1980 in Poughkeepsie NY.

Residing in and around Brooklyn NY since 1999 he has maintained a life of working and showing as an emerging artist and curator.

With his surfaces of choice being books, assembled paper and found objects. He embraces a more traditional, yet tedious and hands on process of creating work that he hopes will stand as a glimpse into these strange times in which we live.

With a strong background in graffiti & Hiphop culture and music in general, he remains busy, preparing for a constant stream of shows and other projects on the horizon.
In The past few years His Art has been shown around the globe, graced the pages of several publications and is featured in a number of Collections.

Artist Statement:

I work with found objects and books. Both have a voice and a past life and that’s what attracts me. I like when a surface shows you that time doesn’t stop. Usually discarded I embrace these books and jackets as well as their surfaces filled with life’s marks. I feed off that and add my own marks, sending them back out in to the world that once discarded the.

These days Books and I have joined up. We are trying to compete with modern media (I only work on the end pages, where people look for the summary. There’s no pages to scare anyone away an obviously a pictures worth a thousand words.) People are busy these days I want to make my ideas very accessible so I updated a format that’s conveyed information for thousands of years.

As things change day to day, I still have love for things that aren’t modern, that are yellowed. I admire there lasting power. I want my work to be like that.
